Job Description
We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer with strong project management skills to oversee end-to-end data flows in support of the Data Normalization & Automation (DNA) TTO. In this role, you will be responsible for eliciting and refining requirements, managing work breakdown to deliverables, documenting artifacts, and creating roadmaps and schedules for implementing comprehensive data flows. This includes transforming data into a standardized data model. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, you will actively engage with external customers to gather requirements and understand the data and data needs of users. A deep understanding of customer data flow architecture is essential for success, as you will work as a key contributor in an agile development environment.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize project management skills to oversee end-to-end data flows and deliver on engineering and project management requirements.
- Elicit and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Schedule work breakdown to deliverables and document artifacts related to data flow processes.
- Develop roadmaps and schedules for the implementation of data flows, including the transformation into a standard data model.
- Foster strong customer relationships and collaborate with external customers to understand their data and data needs.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of data flow processes and system-to-system connections.
- Possess a basic understanding of NiFi, including flow file attributes, or be able to quickly learn and apply this knowledge.
- Work with various data formats, such as CSV, JSON, PCAP, and XML.
- Contribute as a key member of an agile development team, actively participating in project planning, execution, and delivery.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university, plus six (6) years of experience in systems engineering.
OR
- High School Diploma or GED, plus ten (10) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area).
OR
- Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university, plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
- PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university, plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.

Additional Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira for effective project management.
- Strong understanding of data flow processes and system-to-system connections.
- Basic understanding of NiFi and flow file attributes, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
- Familiarity with various data formats, including CSV, JSON, PCAP, and XML.
